Kurt Van Wagner

Kurt Van Wagner's roots in art go back to when he was a youngster living in Southern California. He was a very craft and hobby oriented child. Together he and his father would make mosaics made from glass tiles, shells, and rocks which they collected from the local beach. During this same period in his life he also discovered the hobby of stamp collecting. This opened so many doors for his hunger to learn about the world, it's many different peoples, cultures and it's beauty. Kurt studied photography in high school. After graduation, he spent the next two summers hitchhiking and traveling by bus and train throughout Europe and North Africa on a student's budget.
